Queensland Mum Gives Birth to Quadruplets in Medical Miracle A 34 year old woman's quadruplets were born at Brisbane's Mater Hospital after a 12 hour labor involving emergency cesarean sections.
The babies, three boys and one girl, weighed between 2. 5 and 3. 2 kilograms. The mother had been trying to conceive for several years before undergoing IVF treatment, which resulted in the quadruplets.
She underwent regular prenatal check ups and screenings throughout her pregnancy.
